I’m not some bloody car crash dummy

Whenever I get into my friend’s car, eventful things always happen. I don’t often get into her car but sometimes she offers to take me home, and while I now live in the opposite direction to the way she goes, it was raining and I was grateful for the offer. Now, what I haven’t mentioned is what these eventful things are. Usually they are things that make me question my personal safety, that and why the hell I got back into the car.

I don’t know what it is but whenever I get into her car, suddenly the fear of god just takes over! Which in her case, is probably a wise thought that I really should pay attention to. This friend has only ever taken me home twice before this event, and every time we both end up screaming. The first time she drove so far up the pavement I thought she would knock a pedestrian over and the second time she drove in the middle of the road for a good few metres! This time another car was involved. She was driving through a particularly tight bit when she clipped a car. I freaked, she had hit a car. Luckily it wasn’t bad; I remember she tried to comfort me by saying that it happened all the time. She didn’t quite get why this didn’t comfort me.

I never get hangovers

We had planned having a drinking session earlier in the week. Our logic behind it was that Tuna Fish and I had never seen each other drunk before. So we thought we would do it at the weekend. It started it off promising. I had bought two bottles of vodka and she was in charge of the mixers. Around 7pm, she texts me saying that we should go to her friends to drink because he had alcohol too. Since it lived 10 doors down from me, I though “what the hell, we might as well drink together”. So about 8.10pm the party began.

We got so into the movies and playing on the wii -I kept losing, in future I know to get Tuna Fish drunk and then I will definitely beat her! Between messing around and writing/drawing on her (Tuna Fish’s) arm, we had such a good time. It was when we got half-way through her friend’s bottle of vodka that we realised it was 6.30 in the morning. Although I didn’t live that fair away I didn’t get to bed until 7.30am, I just can’t sleep when I’ve been drinking so I decided to make myself breakfast, after that I soon fell asleep. With my eye mask on of course, other wise seeing the sun would have stopped me sleeping too. And who would have thought it, I felt great. I love not getting hangovers. :)
