It has been a realllly long time, I know…. :( Not to try and give excuses, BUT, a lot happened to keep me busy and away from blogging. But because so much time has past i’m going to give a quick update of things that have changed.

1. Myself and Tuna Fish are no longer friends. It is sad because I thought of her as a true friend- but when I had a fight with our other housemate she not only took her side but she also joined in. It makes me sad because although I couldn’t give a damn about the other one- Tuna Fish was someone special to me. Even now I feel regret about her- but it cannot be help and life must go on.

2. I’m no longer in university. I graduated! Yey me! The down side is now, I am looking, rather unsuccessfully, for a job. I have an idea of what I want to do now (not going to tell for now though), so until I can do that I’m looking for something to tied me over.

3. I am no longer a fatass :) In the last year of uni (and to be quite honest most of my uni life) I spent putting on weight. I got to about 12 stone (168 lbs) and for a 5 foot 1 inch shorty like my self, that is not good. In 3 months I have lost 2 and a half stone (35 lbs) and I’m still going until I get to 8 stone (112 lbs). I’m doing really well. :)

4. Some of my more loyal readers (if there are any of you left) will have noticed I changed my username. No longer Rin, but Nou. I always liked the name Rin but Nou is a shortened version of my nickname so I thought I would go with that.

Anyways, keep an eye on this space because i’m going to update frequently. :)

Brrrr its cold in here.

For those living in the UK you will know of the huge snow epidemic we’ve been having.  Others might not even know Britain gets snow, just rain. For all those who did, don’t worry- its a popular misconception. However now the snow is melting and instead it is becoming ice. Believe me, not fun when you’re wearing the equivalent to Dorothy’s ruby slippers. And not only was I wearing these shoes, I was also door knocking for a good hour, in the freezing cold, to let people know about the elections in our student union.

Now, for a bit of background… I ran in this election last year and I was elected as the Women’s Officer. So as you can tell I am a feminist but I haven’t been helping out greatly for a while so I’ve been feeling guilty, so I said yes and started door knocking. In the bloody snow. Being out there today made me wish I’d had ice skates on, I slipped so many times. But after an hour, and nearly catching pneumonia, I was given my freedom. Which I was eternally grateful for as my thong was started to cause some major discomfort, I swear I was walking funny on the way home!
