Sims 3 is everything I expected and hope for. I absolutely love it. I woke up especially early on Friday (my one day off all week) to get it.
I played on it all day. I eventually stopped playing at 5.30 am Saturday morning and that is only because I had work at 6pm and had to get a bit of sleep before hand, especially since I was working until 2am. Although because I was waiting for my lift I ended up getting home at 4am.
Speaking of work… my feet hurt. Lots. I honestly feel like a cripple. I couldn’t walk yesterday and since I had work today I thought I would buy pain killers. They don’t seem to have done much. Damn. I was suppose to work yesterday but I wasn’t feeling well, which meant I could rest my feet. So I phoned in and told them I was ill. This has lead me to dislike my boss immensely. (Meaning: Hate with a furious passion) She is so mean! Here is me lying in bed ill and she says, in one of the most snooty voices I’ve ever hear, “thanks for that!”
Bitch.
Oh well, theres nothing I can really do about it. She’s a cow to everyone. Thats not going to change- I just need to stay away from her, that way if I don’t see her she can’t be a cow to me. And I wont get moaned at for answering back. I was lucky I was on the phone to her because I really wanted to tell her how rude she was and how I didn’t appriciate it. But I didn’t. The credit crunch is a powerful force.
So… whats new? Not a hell of alot. I have fixed the link for my twitter and have added an ‘add me’ for facebook. So if you like me that much you can add me. Don’t worry it isn’t compulsary!

My day was going fine. Well, as fine as can be expected when dealing with lots of rain and it being bloody cold. But it was going fine. I went to all my classes, did my homework and all without relatively any fuss. That was until I walked out of my 4 O’ clock lecture. I was heading over to my 2 hr Italian class when I stepped funny and fell, twisting my ankle in the process.
Now, when it comes to injury I have a bit of a history. Just so you get what I mean I am going to try and go through it (briefly). When I was 4 yrs old I fell of a wall and hit my head, I was badly concussed and had to go to hospital (I still reckon I was pushed, I mean come on, how can someone go from sitting to on their head?!). When I was 10 yrs old, I fell off a wall (yet again, this really was my own fault- well the brick work was shit…) and I broke my right wrist. When I was 11 yrs old, just a year after the first time, I had a roller skating acident and I broke my right wrist… again. When I was 13 yrs old I blocked a ball in netball (I love netball) and I broke three of my fingers on my left hand. That year I also managed to get run over by a car. I swear, the stamples they put in my head to put it back together hurt more then the bloody car did! When I was 15 yrs old, once again playing netball, I broke my left ankle. A few weeks after I had the cast removed, I managed to slip on the mat in the bathroom and break my left wrist. These are just a few of the dramas I have gone through, so you can understand why I may feel a little cynical to this latest developement.
I mean, at least if I had been drinking I wouldn’t have felt the pain until much later. I’ve done this too, I couldn’t walk for three days after that, but at least I didn’t know i’d hurt myself until the next day! Yes… I was that drunk. So now all I can do is sit here… and maybe moan for a bit. There is, however one good thing, after a while I couldn’t feel any pain, that was probably because my feet had gone numb from the cold. Have you ever heard the phrase “been there, done that, bought the t-shirt?” well it would seem I have a bloody wardobe full of just plain bad luck. Those, and one sexy-as-fuck ankle strap!
